Couple cross a river by hooking a zip line to their back piercings
PAIN? WHAT PAIN?
Ukrainian couple Mariya Gafitsa and Pavlo Klets have claimed a rather bizarre world record – the longest rope crossing using metal clamps pierced into their own backs.
Shudder.
The challenge took place in the Ukrainian capital of Kiev, where they would attempt to cross the 550m wide Dnipro River using a zip line attached to clamps in piercings on their backs.
The Mirror reports that they each wore an extra harness, just in case anything nasty happened. Fortunately, both managed to complete the challenge with minimal injury.
If you really want to, you can watch this video of their world record-breaking attempt. If you really, really want to.
Mental. MENTAL.
